FABRIC TREATMENTS
| Burnout |
A treatment of fabric where portions
of the fabric are removed to expose a sheer fabric
underneath. This treatment creates a pattern of
exposed areas. |
| Crochet |
The knitting of a fabric that creates
a pattern of open areas between interlocking threads.
Crochet swimwear usually does not have much construction
or inner treatments |
| Engineered |
A print or embellishment that is
placed on a particular area o f a suit,
it is not a random placement |
